3 tips for Pregnancy, Pre & Post baby training

Number one: Training before and whilst you’re pregnant

Let’s assume some of you who are reading this aren’t yet pregnant, and if so, this tip is for you. One of the best and easiest ways to ensure you kick back once having a baby is to get fit and in shape before you fall pregnant. This will also ensure (assuming you’ve got clearance from your doctor) that you can train while you’re pregnant, which not only has amazing health benefits but also makes losing weight post baby so much easier.

Number two: Start a little below what you could do before

Whether you trained whist pregnant or not you’ll, need to have your starting point a little below what you were able to do before you got pregnant. So start there and listen to your body, you’re going to know your limits better than most.

Number three: Get around like-minded women on the same journey as you

Unless you’re a part of the 1% of people that are completely self-motivated, you’ll want to get yourself in, and around, likeminded women on the same fitness journey as you. Something like a private boot camp that specializes in post-pregnancy ladies would be perfect.

So find your tribe and help motivate and empower each other along the way!
